Male ODP Players that make the state pools are eligible to considered for an international training exchange program. Up to 8 players (total – all ages) will be able to go to the youth academy system of the Mexican 1 st division professional club- CF Monterrey Rayados in Monterrey or Estudiantes in Argentina. Players will be immersed in the youth system – playing and training within their appropriate aged Mexican teams. Players will do everything their youth players do. Players will experience the life, culture, and play of soccer in football. The Mexican players are training to become professionals as they train 6 days a week, 51 weeks out of the year. American and Mexican/Argenitean supervision and security will be provided the entire time by AYSA. This will be an opportunity of a lifetime and much different then sending an American team to another country competition and training. This is an emersion in the soccer culture of Mexico and Argentina. With that being said, it will not be for everyone, even ODP players. While playing ability will be a factor, more importantly will be your passion for the game, your willingness to live and experience their soccer culture.
