International Training Opportunities for Girls State ODP Players
Fortuna Hjorring in Denmark
Female ODP Players that make the 91-93’s state pools are eligible to be considered for an international training exchange program.
We have developed an exchange with the women’s club Fortuna Hjorring. Up to 8 players (total – all ages) will be able to go to the youth academy system of the only all female professional club in Europe. Players will be immersed in the youth system – playing and training within their appropriate aged Danish teams with potential cross training with the full women’s teams. Players will guest play in the international Dana Cup tournament with the Danish teams. They experienced professional soccer clubs and the personal growth of interacting in different cultures and countries.
94-91 Program
Player goes directly to State Tryouts in December, there are no District Tryouts. If selected for the State Pool then may play on State Team if selected. As a State Pool player attends State Pool Training and if selected to the State Team attends State Events. From the State Team players there is a Regional and then National Pool and Team selections from the Regional camps in July.
95 & 96 Program
Player attends District Tryouts. If selected would go to State Tryouts in December for the State Pool, if selected for the State Pool then may play on State Team if selected. As a State Pool player will attend State Pool Training and if selected to the State Team attends State Events. From the State Team, 95 players may be selected to the Sub-Regional camp in June for girls or to the Regional Camp in July for Boys.
